I was born and have spent the majority of my life living in the area with a brief spell away. My children were taught in the local school and now pursue careers around the area but are based here too. I have been involved as leader of the local yfc, volunteered at a youth drop in facility in town and was involved in the rugby club in my playing days. Currently I am chairman of the Brecon and Radnor branch of NFU Cymru and farm in the upper Irfon valley as well as operate a softwood harvesting gang in the local forests. I believe there should be opportunities for both young and old inhabitants of our area to live work and play in sustainable well-paying jobs
